Philosophy:
I offer psychotherapy to individuals and couples using a variety of psychotherapy approaches throughout the course of therapy.
I offer a compassionate, warm, and safe space in which to explore many diverse issues that may include Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Self-Esteem and Relationship & Intimacy Issues. I assist my clients in learning about family of origin issues and understanding of how the child’s role(s) in the family is an adaptation to the parent’s needs. Clients become aware that these "carried feelings" that can contribute to rage, pain, depression, feelings of worthlessness, as well as addictions, all of which can create havoc in the client’s life. I support my clients in finding their motivation to change by using evidence-based practices. I utilize a variety of Mindfulness Based techniques, including guided meditation, which is designed to quiet the mind, relieve anxiety, and help prevent people who suffer from depressed mood and addiction relapse into mood disorder and addictive behavior. With a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Los Angeles, Pamela Warren, MFT, provides gentle guidance, a warm safe, and compassionate space to explore issues of Trauma, Anxiety, and Relationship & Intimacy Issues. |
