About:
Pamela received both Bachelors and Masters degrees from Antioch University with an emphasis on Mindfulness, Drug & Alcohol Addiction, and Sex & Love Addiction.
She trained for 2 1/2 years at the Women’s Clinic and Family Counseling Center in West LA, working with adult individuals and couples focusing on personal growth. During her time at the Women’s Clinic, Pamela participated in psychological experiences including psychodynamic, Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness / Meditation, and Jungian Depth / Spiritual Psychology. Additionally Pamela trained at Antioch University Counseling Center in their school-based program, counseling children and teenagers, as well as, Cedars-Sinai Hospital’s Teenline, a national crisis hot-line for teenagers where she supervised teenagers taking crisis calls, texts and emails from other teens worldwide. Additional Training • Certified Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADAC) from UCLA, • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program from Insight LA • Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention Program from Insight LA • Post Induction Therapy Training (PIT) developed by Pia Melody. |
